Conner is a big fan of red velvet cake. When I saw this recipe for red velvet bars with white chocolate icing I couldn’t resist! I decided to tweak the recipe a bit to see if I could change the red coloring to a turquoise. Instead of the red food coloring I just used a dash of blue and it achieved the affect I wanted! Here is a picture of the finished product.The recipe actually made way more icing than I needed so I saved the icing for some frosted cookies later in the week and I still have a ton left. Maybe I should just make these bars again 😉 Here is the original recipe.
