Sweet Summertime

This time last year I felt like I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off in order to mark off last minute stuff for the wedding. This summer feels so much more laid back and care free.  Mid week date nights are happening, of course the sun stays out longer, and the commute to work seems a little shorter. Maybe it is all in my head?

Anyways, I had a free moment to do some Pinterest-inspired crafting. Conversations recently have centered on the upcoming football season so I thought it was time to get ahead and make a Yellow Jacket themed wreath for the door. Here is a shot of the finished project. I used about 6 different types of material, ribbon, and tulle to construct the wreath on an old wire hanger. I love the way it turned out, especially with the striped navy and white ribbon from our wedding 🙂
