This past weekend was mixed with some much needed chill time sprinkled with video gaming, pup cuddling, movie watching, and crafting. I have been working on reupholstering a chair for the past couple of months and this weekend I finally finished it. I will give a full recap of the process soon but for now here is a picture of me reupholstering the buttons for the chair.
Overall the weekend was filled with lots of rain so we choose to spend our time indoors. In between helping me staple my chair, Conner cuddled with Brinkley on the couch, playing video games.
For our weekly date we went to Studio Movie Grill which is a pretty cool place to see movies because you get to have dinner while viewing the big screen. We saw Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. The movie was pretty good, however you could feel all the varied emotions within the theater since it has only been 10 years since the 9/11 tragedy. The movie wasn’t just about 9/11 but more about the journey a little boy takes to connect with his father. It was a good movie, some loose ends that I would have loved them to solve, but overall a good film. I think the little boy who was the main actor should win an Oscar or something.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Check back later this week for a full recap of the chair we reupholstered.
