Before we get into the actual ceremony I thought it would be fun to show you the details that went into making our day so special. First up we have our Unity Candle. Of course our Unity Candle was lit by our mothers and then together during the ceremony.

We had a plated dinner so we color coordinated the seating chart according to who chose what option for dinner.

At the bar we had koozies with our wedding “logo”.

We also had blue and yellow programs that included the wedding program and the names of our bridal party.

One special thing we incorporated was a handkerchief from both sides of the family. Conner’s grandma surprised him the night before the wedding with a handkerchief from his Papa that passed away when he was younger. My something borrowed was a handkerchief that was used at my parent’s wedding that will was embroidered with their monogram and date. They added Conner’s and my name and date so that as each of the kids get married in our Sheppard family, we can pass along the handkerchief.

Another detail were my wedding shoes. For those of you who have been following for a while you may remember that these were bought with pennies. Love that they were the perfect colors for the day.
