Hey Y’all!

We hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend. Conner and I were able to spend the week with each other and our families. We were also able to cross off a few things on our Wedding Roadmap. I personally kicked off the Thanksgiving-week long break with a trip to purchase my wedding dress! My dad loved it (evident by the tears that welled in his eyes), so I purchased it and can’t wait to get it back to make alterations. One store, one dress… that’s my idea of wedding dress shopping.

Next we worked on our Save the Dates. Overall, our wedding doesn’t have a “theme”. I guess you can define the style of our wedding as modern sophisticated. Basically clean lines incorporating navy blue and yellow. We went a few weekends ago to pick out the design we liked and then waited for our engagement pictures to come in. After receiving the pictures, we emailed our “chosen one” to be inserted into our design. We got the proof back last week and loved it! With a few tweaks, we can’t wait to get the Save the Dates in our hands!
