You may be wondering where we have disappeared to and why there have not been any significant posts about wedding details. To tell you the truth, we have both been a little preoccupied with- Fall. Yes the start of school (for Conner), the start of the real world (for Mandy), and of course, football season. Football is more than just a hobby to Conner. Conner’s obsession with football transformed into him working for the Georgia Tech Football Team last year. He loves this job, especially this year as he is on the traveling squad for away games.  Due to this, Conner has spent the last few weekends traveling with the team. We did find a brief moment to catch a live football game, together, in the stands. Never thought I would look forward to that- but it was fun! We donned our Red and Black to cheer on the Falcons against the Cardinals. It was a great time.

So of course with fall and football, little wedding progress has been made. As Conner and I discussed our “road map” (aka our time-line for to-do’s for the wedding) this past weekend, we reflected on how September flew by and very little was accomplished. Don’t get me wrong, the venue was booked, the hotel block was reserved, my passport was ordered, and my mom and I were able to go out to a Bridal Show, however all of these things did not involve a lot of stress or huge time commitments. As we start looking towards next month, more significant decisions must begin being made (AKA getting a wedding dress **EEKK I am too scared to do this, but that constitutes another post completely**). Truly, we are on schedule as far as our road map goes, and are getting more and more excited for these next 11 months to fly by.  Thank you for journeying with us to our big day, and check back soon for a few surprises here and there.
